The Elven Wolf is currently accepting stories and poetry between 2000-5000 words.

There is currently no payment for the stories therefor rights will remain with the author. Some publications may consider a story posted on The Elven Wolf as being published, so I encourage authors to attempt sales to paying markets first in order not to jeopardize their sales rights.

The Elven Wolf takes stories of any speculative genre. Please avoid the use of excessive bad language, gore, or sex. I want to maintain a magazine that remains suitable for most of the family, most of the time. With this in mind if any of the above is included in the story it MUST be integral to the work. Remember though that often subtle insinuations are more effective that shock tactics.

The Elven Wolf needs strong stories, believable characters and lifelike situations (on familiar or unfamiliar worlds). If your characters live, love and/or die in your stories then your story may be acceptable for The Elven Wolf.

Any stories based on illegal or highly controversial topics are likely to be rejected.

Reprints are accepted provided permission is granted (in writing or by email) by the copyright holder and/or the editor/owner of the first publication.

Simultaneous submissions are discouraged owing to the various complications these can cause.
